TTMM Overview

The Tears of the Kingdom Mod Manager (TTMM) provides all the essential tools to enhance, manage, and customize your game experience. Here’s an overview of the key features TTMM offers:

Using TTMM

Here’s a quick guide on how to use some of the primary features within TTMM:

YUZU Preset Optimization & Auto-Detect

  • Launch TTMM and ensure Yuzu is installed on your system.
  • TTMM will attempt to auto-detect Yuzu's installation location. If detected, the path will be automatically saved to your settings file.
  • Configure your settings, set the path to your Emulators mod folder, save path folder, and set your Mod Backup Path, and Save Backup Path. Click Save & Close.
  • Click on Yuzu Presets within the TTMM GUI to apply the recommended Yuzu settings for optimal gameplay.

Save Editor & Backups

  • Open the Save Editor option within the Tools menu strip.
  • Select a save file or directly drop it into the save editor to modify and use the editor tools to modify settings, rupees, items, and gameplay elements as desired.
  • To create a save backup, go to File in the menu strip and choose Save Backups > Backup Saves.
  • To restore a save backup, go to File in the menu strip and choose Save Backups > Restore Saves.

Mod Management

  • In the Installed Mods section, browse the installed mods and toggle individual mods on or off as needed using the toggler in the top right of TTMM.
  • To download the latest mod pack, In the Available Mods section,click Download to update the available mods list.

RSTB Merger

  • Access the RSTB Merger from within TTMM via the menu strips Tools option.
  • Load an RSTB file to modify/merge and use the editor tools to adjust values for custom game assets.
  • Supports YAML Conversion, RSTBL Conversion, RESTBL Merging, Mod Patching, And Make Patch.
  • Save your changes to apply the modifications.

ZSTD Tool

  • Access the ZSTD Tool from within TTMM via the menu strips Tools option.
  • Game Path in Settings: Specify the path to your Totk game dump (RomFS - not an XCI or NSP file). This field is required.
  • Browse for a .zs file or optionally, a folder in the text area labeled "folder Path", located in your Totk game dump.
  • Click on the Decompress/Compress button to decompress/compress the file and save the raw output to your computer.

Cheat Integration

  • To enable cheats, go to the Cheats tab in the Available Mods section.
  • Select from available cheats loaded and activate them via selecting them, and clicking the Add Selected button.

Launching the Game

  • Use the Launch TotK button in TTMM to launch the game directly.
